During the interview, Ms. Sharpe answers questions about why she wrote the book and also shares two of her poems, "If You Believe" and "The Rainbow."

In this segment of "Poems to Ponder," the historical roots of biblical poems called psalms (from the Old Testament) are briefly explored and linked to hymns currently used in Christian church music. At the end of the segment, the poems, "Faith" and "Praise the Lord" are read by Ms. Sharpe.

Sharpe expounding on the "gift" of salvation God gave to mankind in the person of Jesus Christ. Ms. Sharpe explains the Christian belief that Christ died on the cross to pay the debt for the sins of mankind and three days later rose from the grave. She also reveals how all who believe will have eternal life (with Christ in heaven)after their physical life on Earth is over. At the end of the segment, Ms. Sharpe will read the poems, "God's Christmas Gift" and "The Lamb of God" from her book "Poems to Ponder."
